About the Event
Description: April is Earth Month, so join us for the largest urban river cleanup in America! Each year the Friends of the LA River (FoLAR) along with fellow Angelenos clean the LA River and help protect the ocean from trash and refuse. Last April they mobilized 10,000 volunteers and removed 100 tons of trash. Let’s help FoLAR make 2018 even bigger!
We will be mobilizing from The Frog Spot (2825 Benedict St, Los Angeles, CA 90039). Meet us there at 8:30am. Please register to confirm your spot and make sure to check your email! All attendees must sign the online waiver using American Society of Civil Engineers as the organization.
Following the cleanup, we'll make the 0.8 mile walk along the LA River Bike Path over to Frogtown Brewery for a social hour. There will be a BBQ stand at the Brewery, so let's work up those appetites.
